MECHANICS TRAINING PROGRAM ON COMBINE
HARVESTER has been organized by GEORGE MAIJO
INDUSTRIES PVT LTD and OFMRDC - Dept. of
Agriculture at OFMRDC campus from 28th Jan
to 2nd Feb at BHUBANESWAR, ODISHA. This is
the first time such a training on Combine
Harvester has been organised in Orissa.
A seven day training program on basic and advanced training on Combine Harvester will be given with the objective of the trainees be able to attend combine harvester repair in the field and rectify it, able to do preventive maintenance, PDI, daily routine maintenance, attend customer complaints. The technical experts of George Maijo Industries Pvt Ltd like Mr Muhammad (M. Tech)and the faculty of automobile Engineering department of MCKV Institute of Engineering, Howrah -Mr Tapas Biswas (MTech) and Mr Jyotirmoy Das (Dip in Automobile Eng ) will be given the training along with the mechanics of GMIPL for Practical Trainings. Specific Training on Engine, transmission system , fuel supply, lubrication, cooling system and difference control etc will be given. Combine Harvester basics along with adjustments, maintenance will be given to fifteen to twenty candidates. An examination will be held in the last day and certificates will be given to the participants.
The Training program was inaugurated by the Director of Agriculture & Food Production Mr R S Gopalan(IAS) & Joint Director Mr P K Paikaray. Mr Mahapatra & Mr Panda of OFMRDC were there to grace the ocacssion Mr M L Mathew the Regional Manager, Dr Alka Jayaswal-Consultant, Mr Kalapataru Sahu the Orissa Territory Manager, Mr Rameshwar Chowdhury Senior Sales Manager, Mr Alan (BE) and other Mechanical staff- Mr Mazhar & Mr Jeetu of GMIPL Industries were present on the occasion.
